Privacy Notice

Short version

This is a personal portfolio site, not a commercial platform. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't run any third-party analytics or advertising trackers, and doesn't build a profile of who you are. It keeps a very small, aggregate log of visits — described below — so I can see roughly how many people find the page useful.

What this site does not do

• No cookies, and nothing is stored in your browser (no localStorage, no tracking pixels).
• No third-party analytics or ad trackers — no Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar.
• No persistent visitor ID, fingerprinting, or cross-site tracking. Each page load is logged independently; there's no way to tell that two visits came from the same person.
• No external font or ad-network requests — the typeface is self-hosted, so your browser doesn't contact Google Fonts or any other third party just to render text.

What is collected, and why

Every time this page loads, a small, custom analytics script records:

• An approximate country — derived automatically by the hosting provider's network from your connection, never stored as an IP address.
• The page path you visited and the referring page (where you came from, if anywhere).
• A timestamp.

When you click certain links (e.g. downloading the CV, or the contact/LinkedIn/GitHub buttons), the name of that action is logged the same way — just which button, not who clicked it.

This is used only to understand roughly how many people visit, which links are useful, and which regions visitors are coming from — nothing more.

Where it's stored

This data is stored in a small Redis database (via Upstash), connected through this site's hosting provider, Vercel. Vercel and Upstash act purely as infrastructure — they host the code and the data, they don't independently analyze or sell it.

Other third-party requests

The public pages of this site make no third-party requests at all. A separate, password-protected dashboard I use to view these stats loads a charting library from a public code CDN (jsDelivr) — that page isn't linked from anywhere public and isn't part of the visitor experience.
